Scholarships for Post Secondary Students

Student Services Jewish Vocational Service administers a number of scholarship and grant programs designed to assist persons face the financial challenges of a post secondary education. One unified application is used to apply for all of these programs.

The following provides a description of the four programs administered by Jewish Vocational Service:

Gus Hilb established the Hilb Scholarship Fund through a bequest to the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati in 1955 in honor of his parents, Mannis and Yetta Hilb. The fund encourages residents of Greater Cincinnati to apply for a need-based academic scholarship. Applications can be made for colleges/university enrollment, professional training programs, and/or short-term vocational training programs in non-academic fields. Hilb candidates are also considered for grants issued from the Guthman, Magnus, Saidel and Heldman Endowments according to the individual endowment guidelines.

Applications are available online during open enrollment periods and can be accessed by clicking on the application button below. For additional information about the Scholarship programs, please contact the Scholarship Administrator Pamela Smith.
