THE JEWISH FEDERATION of CINCINNATI HILB SCHOLARSHIP FUND


The application deadline for full year grants for the 2010/2011 school year has passed.

Applications for Second Semester or Second &Third Quarter grants will be considered this fall, if funds are available.

You may apply for consideration using the processes described below. Please make sure to carefully read the guidelines and adhere to all deadlines for your application to be considered.


Jewish Vocational Service is now accepting application for the 2010/2011 school year grant period. Summer terms in 2010 is included in this period. Grants for this period will apply to school terms during the first five months of 2010. In order to be considered for one of these grants an applicant must initially meet the following three (3) primary eligibility guidelines:

  1. The applicant's family's total prior year (2009) adjusted gross income as reported on their form(s) 1040 can not be any greater than $120,000.
  2. The applicant must be a resident of the Greater Cincinnati for the two year period area prior to the first date of the grant period (The two years do not include time spent as a student).
  3. The applicant must have a cumulative high school Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.0. If the applicant is currently in his/her freshman year of college, he/she must have at least a 2.0 GPA. The applicant must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA for each year thereafter.
